ABOUT ME
Dr. Jim Russell (aka Dr. Jim) is a certified psychological examiner with the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE), a National Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counseling Association, and a Diplomate & Clinical Mental Health Specialist with the American Mental Health Counseling Association. Dr. Jim is licensed to practice as a counselor in Missouri.
Psychoeducational testing is a good way to find a person's strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes the person has a learning disability or they have attentional issues (e.g., ADD or ADHD) that interferes with academic success. Dr. Jim has over 25 years of experience conducting psychoeducation evaluations for children, adolescents and adults. One of his passions is helping Twice Exceptional Learners (e.g., being gifted and also having a learning disability) to be successful.
Dr. Jim lives in Webster Groves, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis) where he continues to marvel at how wonderful human beings can be - when they try.
